Most of the Ziegler family originated from Michael Ziegler..
There are many books written about him and the related families in the USA and in Canada. The Canadian book was written by Lynn & Paul Becker in Kitchener Ontario (I do have a copy of this book)my husband is a descendant of Michael Ziegler too!( He is also 11 generation removed from Michael )
