Looking for information on the family of John Zeigler, b. abt. 1775 in PA, of Longswamp Twp., Berks Co., PA.
He married Mary Schmick/Schmeck, d/o Godfrey Schmick/Schmeck and his (unknown) wife. Mary may have been John's second wife.
According to family records, they had two known children:
Anna S., b. 1819 and d. 1902 in Huntington Co., IN; and married Peter Karst
Isaac, b. 1821, d. 1901 in Vernon Twp., Jennings Co., IN and married Sarah Schneider
Also, according to family records, they also had a daughter named Harriet.
According to the 1820 census, Longswamp Twp., Berks Co., PA, they also had one other daughter and two other sons--one possibly named Andrew. Some of these children may have been John's by a first wife.
