You are correct re: Mary being his second wife. They did not have any children. I have the listing of the children of Michael and Martha. One of his children was John who married Sarah Lavica they had a daughter who was named Nancy and she married John Valentine (Volentine) They had a son named John Volentine who was my great grandfather.
Sarah apparently moved to Jasper Texas later in life to be near her sons. I have been unable to trace her burial or further information on her. John Volentine, my great grandfather lived in Grant Parish La. and is buried in Bentley La. He fought in the civil war. I have much information on Michael and his father Frederick as well.
