Hi Marilyn,
I have a Joseph Woodhouse in my family tree. He was born in Chucham Gloucestershire c1822. His first wife had died by 1851, this could, maybe, be the father of Charles Taplin Woodhouse, as he was also either the father or uncle of another Charles Woodhouse who died in Blaisdon Gloucestershire in 1843 aged 6. This infant's mother was Phoebe Woodhouse, but I am not absolutely certain who the father was. This six year old was the brother of William Woodhouse who was my Great Grandfather. William had a son, Wallace Charles Woodhouse, who was born in Longhope Gloucestershire in 1874. He was known as Charlie, I don't know whom he married, but I do know that he had two daughters and that he was in the Tea and Coffee trade.
