I am still looking for more information on the wife of William Jackson Williamson of Pickaway co., Ohio. After William Jackson Williamson died in 1852, he left behind minor children, papers were drawn up for their care and being they were minors they were given to various foster parents, as their mother the former ELIZABETH BAKER, did not want them. By the time everyone had gotten to court, Elizabeth Baker Williamson had remarried and her new husband was Francis Frederick. The 7 children involved were Sarah, William Frank, John, Mary/Maria, Joseph, Elizabeth and Catherine born between 1837 and 1850. Sarah was my mother in law's great aunt and knew her well, William Frank was my mother in law's grandfather. Does anyone know anymore about Elizabeth Baker Williamson Frederick? Who were her parents? On the 1880 census for Piatt county, Illinois, where Sarah and William Frank Williamson moved to, Elizabeth appears on the census under the name Elizabeth Williamson. Apparently she divorced Francis Frederick or he died and she went back to taking her first husband's name. Any clue would be appreicated.
