We are the forefathers of DNA, and history to come depends on us. If your Williams line has not been DNA tested thru the Williams DNA Project, " do a google search and you will find it ", then you should find a male Williams of your line and DNA test him. 700 male Williams's have been tested already. Not every one has the same luck. But with me, I matched DNA with people from huge family tree's all going back to the same location in VA. my family came out of. I learned more from one DNA test than from 10 years of research. A DNA test is simple, it comes in the mail, scrape the inside cheek of a living male williams mouth and send it out in the mail. Several of us track people down for DNA tests. The family tree's on Rootsweb are so messed up. People trying to claim some one elses tree and are recording it as such. You have to turn to DNA. It's the only way to sort us out.
