Looking for any info on Hugh Willard, first husband of Jane Cox. He died before 1806 in Grainger Co., Tn. Jane remarried John Renfro Sr. in 1806 in Knox Co., Tn. Jane was the daughter of Thomas Cox and Jennet ?. She was born in 1789 in Botetourt Co., Va. and died after 8-1860 in Grainger Co. She is buried with John on the Renfro family farm outside Knoxville, Tn. She must have been married for only a short period to Hugh, as she was only seventeen when she married John Renfro. It has been speculated that Hugh is the son of one of two brothers, Samuel or John Willard.
