emma whiting was the dau. of chester whiting, she was born in ny, then moved to michigan. she married a man named heman harrison brownell in cressy corners, kalamazoo county, michigan 25 march 1867. emma died 31 mar 1917 in plainwell, allegan co, michigan. they had one son, george edward, born 25 feb 1872 in prairieville, Michigan. george is my gg-grandfather. i would greatly appreciate any information.
