I have no information on Samuel Washburn BUT there was an Abel Wshburn who died 1799 in Canaan, NY who had a wife Rachel. Rachel died 1816 in Steuben, Oneida Co., NY. Her will bequeathed property to her children Samuel, Abigail and Ruth. perhaps Abel& Rachel are the parents of your Samuel Washburn.
