I am trying to fill out a Washburn Family history. I have a Rufus Washburn b. 1766, possibly a Captain from the War of 1812. He married Patience. Rufus died by drowning 4/28/1817. Patience died 7/11/1852. Rufus born Exeter Co., N.Y. Son of this marriage Amasa born 1797 died 1883 buried in Macomb,n.y. Any help would be appreciated. Christy
