Hi Sarah, I would be surprised if we are not related. My Washburn's come from Mason and Bracken Counties in KY. Do not see a direct connection right now. I believe a connection might be through a brother of John WASHBURN. I do not know who his siblngs are, need more research. Here is what I have on John WASHBURN:

Harrison WASHBURN had 14 children, all born in Ursa, Adams, IL.
