According to the book, "Indiana: A New Historical Guide", a Captain William Thornburgh was living in Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana in 1835. He built a structure on the corner of Washington and Indiana Streets that was eventually used as a drugstore by Eli Lilly. Does anyone know who the parents of this William Thornburgh were? Thanks.
