My father was Charles William Thornborough, whose family came from Alveston and Loxley, villages near Stratford on Avon in Warwickshire. My ancestor Edward Thornborough married Mary Ligon Dee in Loxley in 1799 and had several children, George (1801) William (died at 2months) Elizabeth 1804 Thomas (1807) and Jane (1812). The only one I have any information on is Thomas (my 3xggrandfather) Does anyone have any info about the others please? Edward was a widow when he married Mary Dee, he had been married to Hannah ? prior to that and had one child Sarah in 1795. What happened to Sarah? Can anyone help me?
