I, too, am researching the Thornburgh, Thornborough, Thornberry, Thornbury, etc. from which I descend. Roland Thornburgh from
England was in Baltimore Co., MD in the 1600's and his desecendants included John Thornburgh whose daughter Elizabeth married Thomas Elledge in Maryland and moved on to VA then to NC where Thomas died. I am putting the Thornburgh data into my computer to include in a book I am writing about my ancestors.
