I'm Stumped (Joseph 1864 and Elmira 1870 Therrien)

I am really stumped. I was hoping someone might be able to supply information on one line of the Therrien family. My mother is Theresa Brodeur originally from Holyoke Ma. Her mother was Mary Ann (Marian) (Marie) Therrien, born Jan 1896 in Vermont and died in 1965. Her parents were Joseph Therrien, born Jan 1864 in Canada and Elmira C.(?) born May 1870 in Canada. They were married in 1888+1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have researched the Brodeur line back 5 generations, but cannot seem to make any headway on the Therrien side.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rick Richmond
