My great-grandmother, Gertrude Terrien/Therrien was born on or about March 24, 1884 in the Allouez township, Michigan area. On October 23, 1899 she married Amos Licquia in Houghton County. Her father's name was Joseph Terrien.
That same year Josephine Terrien married James Lewis, also in Houghton County, and her father's name was also Joseph Terrien.
I believe that Gertrude and Josephine may be sisters, but have no proof. I do know that Gertrude had at least three sisters living at the time of her death in 1943.
Any information connecting Gertrude to this family or another Joseph Terrien would be greatly appreciated.
