Hi Julie! Sorry to have disappointed you too! I spent a lot of yesterday on the web and went on a site for Quebec Genealogy. I contacted someone from the St.Gabriel area (Micheline Wetson, I believe the name is - She/he (I believe she, but you neve know) responded today and said that the town was not started until in the 1830's, so Richardson and Delima could not have been born there. I asked if she/he would check in the DeBrandon/Lake Brandon/Berthier area. I also told her/him I would check with my Dad about the religion they practiced, as we might be able to link them up with a church and find a cemetary where Louis and his wife are buried. She asked if I knew if they were married in St. Gabriel, and I told her/him that I thought they probably were. If you know more, please clue me in.
I also put a request in at the Taylor Co. WI Genealogy roots site for Delima. I have not heard back as yet.
