Thanks for the reply. A few points to clarify, most Canadian child when baptised are given the name Joseph for boys and Marie for girls, but this is not the name they go by. Ex: my name is Joseph Théodore, but I go by the name Théodore. For dates the we use the DD/MM/YYYY method as opposed to the MM/DD/YYYY method commonally used in the USA.
I have review my source and I also question the Montréal connection. For Joachim mother my records indicate Judith Champagne/Desparois.
I would be pleased to append any missing or corrected information to our database.
Do you have the ancestroral info on Joachim? Are you interested in getting it.
