Gedeon Therrien Marie Roi/Roy son Moses

I am researching my wifes tree. She is descended from Moses Terry (Therrien)b 18 Aug 1848 in Canada (St. Sebastien I believe). His death certificate lists Judson Therrien and Mary King as his parents, but I believe that is the americanized version of Gedeon Therrien and Marie Roi. At the NYSL they had "A Little History of Little Canada in Fort Edward" and it had Moses and his children (9 of 11 that I have documented in Sue's tree)and lists his parents as Gedeon and Marie. Napolean was listed as one of his brothers. What I would like to know, is am I on the right track?
