If I found the right Mabel F. Alkire in the Texas Death Records, then she died in Corpus Christi on December 30, 1969 and was buried in Oakwood Cem., Cisco, TX. It also says that she was born on August 30, 1888 in Indiana and that her tather was Alonzo Summers. Her mother is listed as unknown.
Also according to Texas Death Records, William Walter Alkire died on Oct. 30, 1965 in Vernon, TX at the Vernon Branch, Wichita Falls State Hospital at that age of 79. It lists no family information and he was also buried in Oakwood Cem., Cisco, TX, with Cisco being his usual residence.
