I'm researching my husband's Summers family who came from Fife, Scotland.
I have two ancestors who are unaccounted for:
Jessie Summers (b 1883, Markinch, Fife) married Robert Hardie (b abt 1879) in 1911 in Rothes, Markinch, Fife. Both Jessie and Robert were paper mill workers.
I haven't been able to trace their deaths on Scotlands People's website.
I thought that they may have emigrated (possibly to Portugal, seeing as Jessie's sister, Christina Summers (b 1895 in Markinch) apparently lived and died in Portugal).
Does anyone descend from either Robert and Jessie Hardie (nee Summers), or Christina Summers?
