Juliana Strunk who was born 3/1/1821 married our relative John Wicks born May 23, 1815. They married 3/11/1838. He was a farmer.
After Juliana died he did marry two more times . to a Wygart? and a Cambell? in the year 1831 He was still farming and removed o Sheffield, Illinions in 1851 to Nebraska in 1879, then returned to Sheffield in 1880.
their children werre James M. Wicks born Jan 14, 1839, enlisted Oct. 21 1861 Civil War soldier as a Sergent, in K 51st ILlinion, discharged disabled july 6, 1862; went to Cedar Rapids, drowned July 8, 1865.
Electa A. born June 29, 1842, died 3/9/1876, married July 2, 1860, Samuel Myers; removed to Bedford Iowa. had four children
Hamlin the third child born to Julian and John was Hamlin. Little is know except he married a Welsch women and lived in Sheffield as a painter.
