Yes, my part (great grandfather Arthur F) of the Strunk family settled in Windom, Cottonwood County, MN in July 1883. Owned the AF & EH Strunk Lumber Company (Eugene H -- cousin) and had a store in Lake Crystal, and later Delft. Later my grandfather (Arthur R) ran the company and sold it sometime in the late 50s/early 60s.
He had three children:
Arthur Jr (1934-1968), Frances (my mother, now lives in northern CA) and George (changed name to Jim King who has moved back to Windom and is Economic Development Director for the City).
