The McCreary County Historical Society is seeking family histories for a new book on the history of the area. Many of the Strunks in Ky playes a part in this history. Daniel Strunk came to KY about 1816, settling in what was then Knox County. Whitley County was formed next, then McCreary. If your Strunk line has roots here, please consider submitting your family story. Details can be found on the McCreary County Home page.
