Sarah Jane Stokes; Daughter of William Wilson Stokes; Wife of Ebenezer TR. Miles

I am looking for any information about Sarah Jane Stokes who appears to have been the daughter of William Wilson Stokes. She was born ca 1829 and married (1st) Ebenezer T. R. Miles who appears to have been the son of Joshua Ballard Miles and his first wife, Elizabeth Prier. Eb Miles and Sarah Jane Stokes were married in Lauderdale County, MS ca 1847 (they are together on the 1850 Lauderdale County census). They do not appear to have had children of their own.

On the 1860 census (Kemper County, MS), Eb and Sarah Stokes Miles have two McDaniel children in their household -- the eldest of whom is my husband's great grandmother, Margaret Behethlyn McDaniel. There is no relationship shown on the 1860 census, of course, but I suspect that Margaret and her younger brother (Thomas McDaniel) had been orphaned (perhaps as early as the late 1840s). I do not know who Margaret and Thomas McDaniel's parents were -- right now I am exploring the possibility that they were the Samuel B. McDaniel and Elizabeth Glover who married in Lauderdale County, MS in February of 1844; but that is just a possibility. Nor do I know what the relationship, if any, was between the McDaniel children and Sarah Stokes Miles and/or her husband. [I do know that the relationship between Margaret McDaniel and Sarah Stokes Miles lasted until Margaret's death in the 1880s in Texas. [Eb Miles died in 1863, and Sarah Stokes Miles was remarried -- to G.W. Brown; Margaret McDaniel married Charles Henderson Rawson in Lauderdale County in the late 1860s; and the Browns and Rawsons moved to Navarro County, Texas at the end of 1869.]

While it may be a wild goose chase, I am trying to gather information on Sarah Stokes and Ebenezer Miles hoping to find some familial connection between one of them and the McDaniel children (or to prove once and for all that the McDaniel children were merely unrelated orphans who Eb and Sarah Miles took in and raised).
