Looking for information on Sampson Stannard. Sampson Stannard Christening 24 Jun 1849 , Badingham, Sfk, England St John the Baptist Church Note.I'm of the opinion that his first name was Sampson which is more than likely what the parents intended But the IGI Batch No: has him recorded as Samson So this just maybe the reason that he's lost in time. I've tried to research his as "SAMSON" but with little luck I noticed in another research report in West Ham, quite a bit on Samuel STANNARD and family. The notice of his son and daughter's marriage. Then the birth of their children and the mention of his demise which I believe was between 1890 and 1896... I'm progressing along these lines. The Internet revealed a collection of my ancestral family names in the West Ham area by the Essex Family History society mentioning the particular journal and page number. Samuel STANNARD is listed with another listing of Harriet STANNARD which were mentioned together... So I'd assume that his wife was Harriet... Most likely is the Samuel that I'm seeking. We'll see. Birthdate found on the IGI... I had the proper year, I just never had the date and month... I've found a marriage record from the Website Free BMD that indicate a marriage in Croydon where his brother Solomon worked and married... It's not impossible to assume that Sampson also married here... Notify Administrator about this message?
