I don't know if there is a connection, but I am looking for information on Mary Anne Stannard, she married Henry Fry on 21/12/1845 at Walton on Thames, Surrey, UK, they had a son Christopher in 1847 who came to Australia. I wonder if Alfred might have been a brother to Christopher
