I am looking for information about my great, great, great grandfather Claudius (Claudius) Stannard who was born on September 12, 1764 in Connecticut; lived for a decade or so in Dutchess County, NY; and lived out his years in Kirtland, Ohio, dying in 1840.
His parents were John Stannard and Hannah Hanchett, both of Suffield, Hartford Co., CT
His siblings were:

Lydia Stannard b: August 29, 1767 in Suffield
Chloe Stannard b: October 31, 1769 in Suffield

Walter Dean was my great grandfather. His childern were:

John Carl (m. Nellie Cope of Lodi, California) - my grandfather whose child was:
Walter Dean Stannard (m. Winifred Johnson of Gridley, California) whose only child was me.
I have been unable to any reliable/confirmable information about Claudius or the John Stannard who was his father. Any data or tips about these two or which could lead to information about them that I can get will be very much appreciate.
Of course, I will be happy to share any information I have - little that it is - or come by.
