Henry T. STANARD NY-MI-MO 1820-1883

Hi - Is anyone familiar with my gg grandfather's lineage? Henry T. STANARD was born in NY about 1820 and migrated to MI in 1840s where he married Minerva HILL (also from NY) 4 Dec 1844 in Fenton, Genesee, MI, producing four children - Frances N., Elbert M., Sara Detta, and James Hutton (my g grandfather). After Minerva's death he married Elisabeth UNKNOWN (producing one child, Elisabeth), then Susan UNKNOWN. He finally migrated to MO (to join James Hutton, I assume). He died 18 Aug 1883 and is buried in Pollock, Sullivan, MO. Frances N. is also buried there.

One researcher insisted that Henry's parents were an Arthur STANARD from CT and Miss UNKNOWN from VT or NY. A researcher cousin believes that the CT trail above is the hottest. I tend to agree and concede that the name Arthur is among Henry's descendants but reserve the option to snoop around in VA (and have - in CT and VA - with no results).

More possible clues are the given names Hutton, Morlimer, DeWitt, Fredricks, Ellis - spelling may be off on some, I use them as they're given to me. Also know that Henry and son, James were carpenters by trade. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanx, Richard
