I would be grateful for any information you can give on William Stanard, no matter how little! The Stanard family details given in the book I mentioned before are as follows:

Jacquelin Beverly Stanard, b. 27 April 1845 (birthplace not mentioned but came from Orange Court House, Virginia) d. 15 May 1864 after being wounded in the Battle of New Market. AKA Jack to his fellow cadets and Beverly to his family. His body is believed to be buried in the Bradbury-Stanard lot in Graham Cemetery, Orange, marked only by a Southern Cross of Honour.

Father: Robert Stanard
Mother: Ellen Bankhead Taliaferro
Siblings:
Mary, wife of W.H. Chapman
Frances (Fanny) Pendleton, wife of T.J. Shaw
Champe, wife of William Rawlins
F. Haywood, married Sallie Chandler
Robert, married Mary (Mollie) Battle

Hope this is useful to someone!
