Hi, I have just started looking at my genealogy. My mother's father was David Lewis (Louis) Stanard. She was born in 1922 in Brookfield, MO. and her father died in Carthage, MO in the early 1930's of an accidential? gunshot. He and his wife Catherine Minzer? Stanard are buried there. I remember Mom talking about the large family her dad came from, including 1 uncle Fred. Of David and Catherine's 4 children, only the youngest daughter survives and her memory is spotty. If this fits, I will be happy to let you know if and what I find as my brother and I are trying to come up with family records before they disappear. Kay
