There's a WWI picture of a Robert Stamper of Canoe, KY. on the Breathitt Co., Museum site: http://www.breathittmuseum.com/docs/breathitt_history.html
It's in the Military pictures view # 9, I'm trying to find out if this is a picture of my Grandfather Robert Stamper of Canoe KY. b. 1892 d. 1973. son of William & Polly Ann "Bowling" Stamper. I believe there were two Robert Stamper living in the area at that time. My dad and all of his siblings are all dead, and no one else seems to know. Would love to talk with the person who gave the museum the picture. Janie Griffith in charge of the Museum site gave me 4 possible people, have been able to contact one of them so far and it wasn't her.
