Hello, I am interested in knowing more about John Sparrow b abt. 1805 in Cumberland Co. NC who married Catherine Lassiter Sept. 1, 1821 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co, TN. Could he have had a son, John B. Sparrow, born c 1829 in TN who md. Merinda (Moranda) Cato in Little Rock, AR, on 19 Nov. 1848? Other children may have been William T., Editha who married a Moore, and James. The second John Sparrow born in 1829 had the following children: Martin M., Tabitha A, Thomas Jefferson, James Samuel and Editha. There is a John Sparrow on the Pulaski County, AR, tax records of 1839 and a Catherine Sparrow in Pulaski County on the 1840 census, but no John. Are they the John and Catherine Lassiter Sparrow married in TN and are they the parents of my John B. Sparrow who married Merinda Cato? Please respond if you have info. I will be glad to share.
