I am a descendent of the Sommers family. My maiden name is Sommers.
I have a Johannes Sommer b 8 March 1730/31 in Sumiswald, Bern, Switzerland d 23 June 1796 in same town. His father was Sebastian Sommer b 21 Nov 1706 d 31 May 1787. Mother was Ursula Riser b 1708 in SW d 1776 in SW.
I believe Johannes was m to Vereba Beck b 1730 in SW also.
Is any of this from your tree? Would appreciate hearing from you. Thanking you in advance
