I am looking for information on William Somers, who was born in England, but emigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada, in the early 1800's. He may have come to work in the coal mines of Cape Breton. He was the son of Samuel and Ella Somers. He was married to Mary Pero/Pearo/Pierro/Perrault. There were four children as a result of this marriage. -- Albert William Somers (b 1861), Margaret Somers (b 1867), Mary Somers (b 1869) and John (Jack) Somers (b. 1871). This may have been William's second marriage. I am interested in knowing where he was born in England, and any information on his parents, Samuel Somers and/or Ella Somers.
