I have receintly discovered that I am a decendant of Fulwar Skipwith. My Great Grandmother was Sophronia Ella Skipwith, born in Dyersburg TN. Her father was William Samuel Skipwith also born in Dyersburg, son of Archibald Skipwith, son of Fulwar Skipwith Jr b 1765 in Virginia, son of Fulwar Skipwith,who was born in Prestwould, Mecklenberg,Virginia. He was the son of William, son of Grey. I am still researching these Skipwiths. Check out The Brock, Jones, Tomlinson, Brigance Ancestry World Tree on Ancestry.com.
