Anyone with information on William Carroll Smith a German cabinet maker, probibly used to be Schmidt or schmitt. He was in Civil War for north. Picked up general Hancock when he was shot off his horse. Lived in the Albany/Troy NY area and married Delia Colahan, had two children William Colahan Smith and Kathleen (Smith) Ohara. They also lived in NYC, Queens and Brooklyn early 20th century.
