I have an obituary for Louisa Smith (possibly also known as Elizabeth Smith). She was German and the last name was originally Schmidt or Schmitt. Predeased husband was George William Smith? It reads as follows:
Louisa Smith - The death occurred Saturday June 8, 1929 at her residence, 333 Hughson Street North, Hamilton after a brief illness. Mrs. Smith was born in Germany 85 years ago and was a resident of this city for the past 52 years. She was an adherent of Grace United Church. She is survived by two sons George W. Smith at home and Thomas Bernard of this city and 2 sistrs, Mrs. James Schunk of Scotland Ontario, and Mrs. Noyes of Burford Ontario. (source The Hamilton Spectator).
Louisa possibly resided in Ancaster, Ontario prior to moving to Hamilton.
