Hi,
I'm looking for more information about August and Louisa Schmidt [great great grandparents.]
They were both born in frankfurt, on the oder, Germany in 1841 and came to Tasmania in 1877. They had 13 children, some were born in Germany, others in Tasmania.
August was an engineer and helped build the sorell causeway in Tasmania.
