searching for information on Charles Theodor and Julia Ernestine (ZurNedden) Schmidt. Charles and Julia were naturalized in Brooklyn,NY 8/1860.He, took the name Carl T. Schmidt. They were married 3/2/1848 Evangelische,Hagen Hamm,Westfalen,Preussen. Julia was christened 1/25/1822 Evange., Schwelm, Westfalen, Preussen. Charles born ~1818-1820., possibly son of Carl Wilhelm and Marie Glup; but uncertain. They had a daughter Laura Julia Schmidt b. 11/1848, whom immigrated with them in 1853 to NYC,USA. (Laura Schmidt named after Aunt Laura ZurNedden.)She married John E. Patt Doyle 3/14/1879 Manhattan,NY. They had a son (only child) Clarence ZurNedden Doyle, b. 10/8/1882 Manhattan.Laura died in Troy,NY 1/20/1920. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
