Looking for information on a Arthur Kaylor Schmidt born in Badon, Germany. He was born to Kaylor Gottlieb and Dora Avey Rosenburgh Schmidt. Arthur Kaylor Schmidt had eight siblings. Those siblings are: Gottlieb ( George ) Kaylor Schmidt born about September of 1815 in Badon, Germany. Frederick Parry Schmidt, born September 2, 1817, Stephen Hinez Schmidt, born September 2, 1817. ( Frederick & Stephen are twins. )
The next four siblings of Arthur Kaylor Schmidt after the twins are: Avalynn Rose Schmidt, born January 15, 1819, Dora Schmidt born, April 10, 1821, in Badon, Germany. Magdalena Maria Schmidt, born February 9, 1823. The last sibling is Anton Rupert Schmidt born about 1825 in Badon, Germany.
Information I have on Arthur Kaylor Schmidt is that he and his brother Gottlieb ( George ) Kaylor Schmidt traveled to America. In America they went there seperate ways and Gottlieb traveled to Pennsylvania where he married a Eliza whose last name is unknown. Gottlieb was never heard from again as family stories tell. Arthur who I descend from traveled to Virginia. Arthur married a Jane Elsmoore whose maternal side can be traced into Germany. Arthur and Jane Schmidt had ten children.
Arthur Kaylor Schmidt was born about the same year as Gottlieb. As for the other siblings of Arthur and Gottlieb Schmidt they resided in Germany and married. None came to America.
Any help on actual birthdates for the parents of Arthur Kaylor Schmidt is welcome. I am also hoping to crack through the parents ancestrial lineage. Thanks for reading my post and good luck on your ancestry!
