I am stuck in 1844. My goal is to get to 1700's. great great grand father Jacob Schmidt born in Barvaria 1844. Snuck out thru London to meet sisters in U.S. Married elizabeth powell in phila, pa. Had 4 children, one is my greatgrandmother teresa schmidt., also had 3 other children. Died in phila 1917. any one out there!
