I'm researching August Schmidt (doctor - B: 1864 D:1934) who married Sophie Myer (sp? - B: 1866 D: 1957). They sailed from Germany (Hamburg?) to Ellis Island (late 1890's-1903). They moved to St. Louis with their 4 daughters (Ellen, Ann, Adele, and Helen) and had another daughter, Eleanor, and a son, William, in St. Louis. They moved to Los Angeles by 1909. Anyone researching this same family? Thanks.
