I am looking for information on Joseph V. Schmidt of Louisville Kentucky, married to Elizabeth unknown. Immigrated from Germany prior to 1887, settled in Germantown, Louisville, Kentucky. One known son is John W. Schmidt (1887-1976).

Life sucks when your ancestor has one of the most common German names!
