Greatgrandparents Daniel F. and Fredericka Schmidt (later changed to Smith)immigrated to the United States in about 1860 from Prussia. They were first in Illinois, then Minnesota (Meeker Co.) starting in the 1870s. Their children were Mary (b.1858), William, Frederick (b.1864), George (b.1866), Emma (b.1868), Clara, Bertha (b.1873), Minnie (b.1876). I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may be connected. Thanks.
