Seeking parents of Heinrich Schmidt, born Dec. 25, 1741 in Lancaster County, Pa. Married Maria Barbara Loesch, a Moravian, c. 1760. Had two children, George and Jacob, before moving to NC in 1769, where 5 additional children were born. Heinrich (Henry Smith) was a blacksmith. His wife's family lived near Heidelberg, PA. I also believe he had a brother George, but other siblings unknown. Searching for clues to his ancestry.
