Hanna Marie Schmidt, wife of Carl August Beilfuse (born 4 MAR 1805), had dau Bertha born 18 AUG 1861/1862 in Bolgard, Germany. Birth dates for Hannah and deaths for Hanna and Carl based family oral history that a stone in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Reed City, MI is Hanna's. Stone gives her name as Anna, wife of Char. Beilfuse and dob as 1 MAY 1816 and dod as 18 FEB 1886. This stone is written up in local Genealogical booklet as "Abandoned Cemetery Sits in Pretty Setting" and notes a broken stone leaning against it saying aged 67. This would imply that Carl died at 1872. It seems that Carl and Charles are used interchangably as is Anna and Hanna.
Dau Bertha married August Wekenman. Any help is appreciated.
