Fred Harvey Schmidt/Willie Schmidt

My great-grandfather was Fred Harvey Schmidt, who changed his name to Smith. It is possible that he had a twin brother, maybe Willie. His father's name was John Schmidt and his mother's name was Nikka Pinkam. He was born 2/8/1875or1876. St.Augustine, FL.

Anybody have any information about him or his parents?

Possible that his name was Freddie, instead of Fred.
