Looking for a connection to JOHN CARL SCHLEICHER b. 1870 Vienna, Austria. He was the son of WILLIAM SCHLEICHER and EMILY KADLEC. I believe him to have emigrated 1900ish.
I find him in the 1920 census of Seattle, WA as a widower living with his son, William b. 1913 in California.
He marries my g-aunt, MARY ELLEN (Nellie)HAMER in Vancouver BC in 1924. They then lived in Seattle. At some point they moved to Everett, Washington where he dies in 1931. He was a jeweler, janitor, and boarding house owner at various times.
There is some mystery about the son, William, who is supposed to have been murdered in Seattle sometime between 1931 and 1940ish.
