Hiram George SANDERS 1889 IL - 1967 IA

I am trying to research my wife's family and have come across a stumbling block. I have a Hiram George SANDERS, born 13 Jul 1889 Powellton, Hancock, Illinois, died 18 Aug 1967 Keokuk, Lee, Iowa, married to Gertrude Mae NICKEL 23 Feb 1918 Kahoka, Clark, Missouri. I know that his father's name was George SANDERS born c. 1854 in Illinois, death date unk. According to the 1910 Hamilton, Hancock, Illinois census, Hiram's mother is not in the picture ... maybe died before 1908.

I would like to find out more about his parents, siblings, and children. If anyone can be of some assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
